Throughout his career Pino has worked worked with a range of top artists, musicians and producers such as Paul Corkett (Bjork, The Cure, Nick Cave) The Hofesh Shechter Company , Gavin Goldberg (Britney Spears, Moby) Luca Campaner (Westlife, Beverley Knight) Gioacchino Maurici (Calogero, Zazie, Florent Pagny) and the soul legend Geno Washington amongst others.
Following his early DJ years he went on to focus on writing, producing and foremost performing as a drummer. He has been living in London since 1996 but has also toured extensively throughout several European countries, sharing the stage with acts such as Morcheeba, Placebo and Hooverphonic.
As a producer and writer he is inspired from the simple need to be creative and explore uncharted avenues. Through the years he has been working in many high profile studios such as Mayfair, Rack, Milo, Boogie Back and Moles both as a drummer and producer. In 1999 he joined the band Sublama and co-produced their debut album Picturehouse with Nick Hunt (Dave Stewart, Urban Species, Placebo). The band quickly achieved airplay on established radio stations in the UK, Holland and Germany. Sublama also managed to attract a great deal of attention from MTV's Real World due to their growing popularity which lead to their first licensing deal in Korea.
In 2002 he started up [Fodez] a solo project inspired by the amalgamation of various art forms like photography, painting, poetry, dance and music to create a blend of sounds and visual stimuli. The aim was to fuse the organic with the synthetic to create engaging soundscapes using acoustic instruments and technology while providing a collaborative platform for creative expression. With this in mind he set off to write his first solo album [To be continued...] on Lofo Records, which was critcally aclaimed in the UK press, and then went on to shooting photographs throughout Europe. His latest collaborative project was called Amplicity, a concept based on the amplification of the minute and evolves around subjects like totality, society and reality.
